The creators of Harry’s Hat® are electricians and builders by trade with over 48 years experience between the pair.

After years of frustration, extra time and money spent on cutting pieces of timber to fix in position and span across beams, joists or trusses to support the cables (and achieve compliance) – they wanted to make a change.

The design of the product is in the shape of a hat, hence the name Harry’s Hat®. A catchy name made for tradies. Creators wanted the device to stand out and be easily recognisable in ceiling cavities, so they created the device a noticeable characteristic bright pink colour. The hat shape and bright pink colour ensures clear visibility so that it isn’t a trip hazard and is an easy way for Electrical Safety Office Inspectors and Building inspectors to quickly check whether or not the electric installation complies.

The product offers mechanical protection through an easy and efficient way of install and compliance can be achieved within seconds of unpacking the product. The product has a variety of use, is time and cost effective and you can use without altering an existing installation or using excessive cabling.
